29 Moving Photos Of Women Speaking Out For Wounded Pakistani Girl:
As Malala Yousafzai — the 14-year-old activist shot by the Taliban — recovers, women across the Middle East and South Asia orchestrate overwhelming displays of support.

Last week two armed men stopped the van Malala Yousafzai was riding home from school in. One of them entered the vehicle, asked which of the girls inside was Malala, and fired three shots, hitting her in the head and wounding two others. The bullet that went into her skull had to be removed from close to her spinal cord. She has now been transferred to a specalized facility at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, UK.
